Hammond RS5105S 108 mm Square IP65 Abs Sealed PCB Enclosure

The RS5105S is the smallest ABS plastic sealed enclosure in the RS Series, a square light gray box built to house P.C. boards sealed from dust and water in indoor applications (it is not for outdoor use). It suits electronics designers, OEM builders and control integrators who need a compact, gasketed housing for a small board.

The body is molded in general purpose ABS plastic with a light texture, carrying a UL94 HB flammability rating. A two-part styled lid gives a smooth recessed area on the top half for a membrane, label or silkscreen. The lid seals with a two-piece tongue & groove gasket, installed at the factory on this model, to protect against oil, dust and water; the enclosure is designed to meet IP65.

The ordering table lists the RS5105S at 108 mm x 108 mm x 54.5 mm, with a nominal size of 4.13 in x 4.13 in x 2.17 in (105 x 105 x 55 mm). Inside, the drawing shows 48.20 mm [1.90 in] of height and 99.68 mm [3.92 in] of width. P.C. board standoffs are molded into the bottom and accept M3 self-tapping screws.

RS5105S is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a box at 0.31 lbs (0.14 kg), and carries UPC 623980179124. Spares are RS510GASKET (gasket) and SC624-50 (lid screws). Avoid acetone, solvents, thread lockers and cutting fluids, which can damage the plastic.
