The RP1610 is one of the largest enclosures in the RP Series: an opaque lid polycarbonate box measuring 254 x 204 x 90 mm (10.00 x 8.03 x 3.54 in) per the ordering table and drawing. It gives control builders, integrators and OEM teams a large, sealed housing for full-size boards or several DIN rail devices.
The part page lists a nominal size of 250 x 200 x 95 mm (9.84 x 7.87 x 3.74 in); the ordering table and drawing give 254 x 204 x 90 mm (10.00 x 8.03 x 3.54 in) overall. Polycarbonate gives it a UL94 V-2 flame rating. The part page lists the colour as Light Gray, while the series ordering table places it in the Off-White Polycarbonate column.
Inside dimensions are 244.19 x 194.19 x 83.50 mm (9.61 x 7.65 x 3.29 in). P.C. boards up to 235 x 186 mm mount on posts that accept M3 self-tapping screws. The lid seals with a two piece tongue & groove joint and a field-installed EPDM string gasket to IP65, and it is held by four self captivating M3.5 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant bushings.
The purchased assembly includes box, lid, string gasket, four PCB screws and four lid screws, packed in a bag. The RP1610 is RoHS and REACH compliant. For this size the ordering table lists STC580 and STA580 inner panels and the RP161GASKET 2-pack, and the series lists MF0050 and MF0055 open "U" slot mounting feet kits.
