The RP1465C is a light gray ABS enclosure topped with a clear polycarbonate lid, 220 x 165 x 85 mm (8.66 x 6.50 x 3.35 in) overall. It gives OEM designers and installers a deeper, sealed housing where displays, indicator LEDs or internal labels remain visible.
Per the drawing, the material is General Purpose ABS Light Grey with Polycarbonate Clear Lid (UL94 HB). The lid joins the base with a two piece tongue & groove seal and a rubber gasket that is included for field installation, providing IP65 protection. Self captivating M3.5 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings.
Interior space is 208.92 x 153.92 x 78.00 mm (8.23 x 6.06 x 3.07 in). A P.C. board up to 205 x 150 mm mounts on M3 self-tapping posts, and the series design offers internal DIN rail mounting tabs where the size allows. Recommended lid screw torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.
The RP1465C ships in a bag with box, lid, string gasket, four PCB screws and four lid screws, at 1.28 lbs (0.58 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and it takes the STC146 / STA146 inner panels and RP145GASKET replacement gasket. Hammond notes that some chemicals, including acetone, ketones, thread locking compounds and cutting fluids, can damage or weaken plastic.
