The RP1460 is an opaque lid polycarbonate enclosure measuring 220 x 165 x 85 mm (8.66 x 6.50 x 3.35 in). Compared with the 60 mm deep RP1450, it adds headroom for relays, power supplies and connectors while keeping the same footprint, making it a good fit for control panel builders and electronics OEMs.
The polycarbonate construction carries a UL94 V-2 flame rating. The part page lists the colour as Light Gray, while the series ordering table places it in the Off-White Polycarbonate column. The lid seals via a two piece tongue & groove joint with an EPDM string gasket supplied for field installation, for an IP65 rating, and is held by four self captivating M3.5 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant bushings.
The drawing gives inside dimensions of 208.92 x 153.92 x 78.00 mm (8.23 x 6.06 x 3.07 in). P.C. boards up to 205 x 150 mm mount on posts that take M3 self-tapping screws, and the lid carries a 0.40 mm recessed inlay for a label or overlay.
Each RP1460 is bagged with box, lid, string gasket, four PCB screws and four lid screws and weighs 1.28 lbs (0.58 kg) shipped. It is RoHS and REACH compliant. Accessories for this size are STC146 and STA146 inner panels, the RP145GASKET 2-pack, and MF0050 / MF0055 mounting feet kits.
