The RP1385BF is a light gray ABS plastic enclosure with an opaque lid and integral bottom flange, measuring 186 x 146 x 110 mm (7.32 x 5.75 x 4.33 in). As the deepest ABS model in this footprint of the RP Series With Bottom Flange, it gives electricians, integrators and OEM designers extra vertical room for boards, components and wiring in a sealed, surface-mounted box.
The gasketed two piece "tongue & groove" lid protects against oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. A rubber gasket is included and installed in the field. Self captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws (included) thread into corrosion resistant bushings, suited to repetitive assembly and disassembly. The ABS body carries a UL94 HB flame rating, and the lid top has a smooth recessed area for a membrane, label or silkscreen.
Per the drawing, the inside measures 177.51 mm long, 137.51 mm wide and 103.33 mm high. The flange brings overall length to 219.95 mm and has 5.20 mm holes on 205.00 mm centres. Boards up to 173 x 134 mm mount on posts that accept M3 self-tapping screws.
RP1385BF is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in a bag at 1.15 lbs (0.52 kg). Listed accessories for the size are STC128 and STA128 inner panels, RP128GASKET replacement gaskets, SC619-50 lid screws and SC622-50 PC board screws.
