Hammond RMS193BK1 3U Rack Workstation Shelf, Sliding Keyboard Tray

The RMS193BK1 is a 3U rackmount workstation that combines an equipment shelf, a sliding keyboard tray and a separate document or mouse drawer into one unit. It is aimed at IT and network technicians, AV and security integrators, industrial controls staff and service-bench users who need a usable work surface inside a 19-inch rack without giving up the space that three separate accessories would occupy.

Three integrated work surfaces do the work: a vented upper equipment shelf that promotes airflow around laptops, test equipment and other portable devices; a solid sliding centre keyboard tray that keeps a standard keyboard protected when not in use; and a separate sliding lower tray for documentation, service manuals, a laptop or a full-width mouse. The drawing identifies these as the swivel keyboard tray, middle drawer and bottom drawer.

Construction is heavy-duty mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The RMS Series is rated to support up to 129 lb (59 kg). Overall dimensions are 5.25 in (133 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 18.38 in (467 mm) deep, with mounting dimensions of 5.25 in (133 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 17.00 in (432 mm) deep. Shipping weight is 30.7 lbs (13.93 kg).

RMS193BK1 fits both 2-post and 4-post 19-inch EIA-310-E racks and includes front and rear support bars for secure installation and added stability in a variety of rack configurations. It is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility, and is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant.
