The 1421100 is a 100-piece rack mounting hardware package containing 100 nickel-plated 10-32 rack screws and 100 nickel-plated steel cup (finishing) washers, supplied in a clamshell pack. It is intended for IT, AV, broadcast and telecommunications installers, OEM rack assemblers and maintenance teams who mount equipment to standard threaded rack rails and want a finished, professional appearance.
Each screw is a 0.625" length machine screw with UNF-2A (10-32) threads, made from heat-treated low-carbon steel to the ANSI B18.6.3 standard with a nickel-plated finish. The oval countersunk head pairs with the matching metal cup washer to create the clean, traditional look used in audio, broadcast, telecommunications and industrial rack installations. A slotted and Phillips combination drive lets technicians install the screws with common hand tools.
The nickel-plated steel cup washers are designed specifically for oval-head screws and distribute tightening force evenly over a larger area, helping reduce the chance of marking equipment faceplates during installation.
