Hammond RM1U22BKSP 1U x 22 in Replacement Side Panel, Black Aluminum

The RM1U22BKSP is a replacement 1U side panel for the RM Series rack mount aluminum instrument enclosure, sold individually. It has a nominal depth of 22.00 in (559 mm) and is listed as a 1U x 22" side panel in black. It suits integrators, OEM engineers and service technicians who need to replace a damaged side, re-work a chassis or keep a spare on hand.

The panel is aluminum; RM Series side panels are extruded aluminum 0.125" (3.2 mm) thick, and the enclosure is finished in a rugged textured black powder coat. Because of that powder coat finish, panels are not grounded to the frame, so the grounding method is to be determined by the customer.

On the drawing, the panel measures 558.80 mm [22.000 in] long with a profile height of 43.69 mm [1.720 in] and a profile width of 16.51 mm [0.650 in]. This 22.00 in deep 1U panel uses six 4.20 mm (0.165 in) holes on both sides and three 4.78 mm (0.188 in) holes, together with four 10-32 UNF-2B tapped holes and countersunk through holes.

The RM Series uses interchangeable side panels, and the ordering table lists the same 22.00 in depth in other heights as RM2U22BKSP (2U), RM3U22BKSP (3U), RM4U22BKSP (4U), RM5U22BKSP (5U). The RM1U22BKSP ships at 1.15 lbs (0.52 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
