The RL6105BK is the black, non-flanged version of the 80 x 60 x 30 mm (3.15 x 2.36 x 1.18 in) RL Series shallow-lid project enclosure. Built to house a PCB for hand-held use, it is a compact choice for small electronic modules, sensor nodes and prototypes where a dark finish is preferred.
The two-part box is molded in general purpose ABS with a light texture, listed on the part page in Trans. Black and on the drawing as general purpose ABS black (UL94 HB). It is designed to meet IP54, and both halves include a smooth 0.30 mm deep recess for a membrane, label or silkscreen.
Per the drawing, the interior measures 75.25 x 55.25 x 24.70 mm, and the maximum P.C. board is 74.43 x 54.43 mm. Standoffs molded into both halves accept M2.6 self-tapping screws.
RL6105BK comes with the box, lid, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws; recommended torque is (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Replacement packs are SC520-50 and SC519-50. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, weighs 0.09 lbs (0.04 kg), and is offered in gray as RL6105 or with flanges as RL6105-FBK.
