RH3185A is the battery-door version of the 185 x 135 x 40.5 mm (series table) RH Series hand-held enclosure, nominally 7.28 x 5.31 x 1.57 in (185 x 135 x 40 mm). It is the widest size in the series and suits battery-powered electronics built around a large circuit board, up to 174.04 x 125.17 mm.
The enclosure is molded in light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture; the material carries a UL94 HB flammability rating. Lap joint construction gives some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the front panel is removable to make modifications easier.
P.C. board standoffs are molded into both top and bottom halves. The series ordering table lists SC611-50 as the replacement lid screw pack for this size, and replacement M2.6 x 6 mm self-tapping PCB screws are available as SC519-50 in packs of 50.
RH3185A weighs 0.49 lbs (0.22 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant. An infrared panel is available for the series as a special order. If you do not need a battery door, the same size is offered as RH3185.
