Hammond RH3185 185 x 135 mm Handheld ABS Enclosure with Rubber Feet

The RH3185 is the widest enclosure in the RH Series of ABS hand-held cases, listed at 185 x 135 x 40.5 mm in the series table (nominal 7.28 x 5.31 x 1.57 in / 185 x 135 x 40 mm). As one of the two largest sizes, it includes four self-adhesive rubber feet so it can also sit on a desktop. It takes boards up to 174.04 x 125.17 mm and has no battery door.

The enclosure is light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture, carrying a UL94 HB flammability rating. A lap joint provides some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the removable front panel eases modification. The lid fastens with M3-0.5 x 25 mm cover screws (SC611-50), and the series specifies M3 machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly.

P.C. board standoffs are molded into both halves and accept M2.6 self-tapping screws. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel and 4 lid screws; recommended torque is (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.

RH3185 ships bagged at 0.49 lbs (0.22 kg), is REACH and RoHS compliant, and pairs with SC519-50 PCB screws and the CP-001G nylon belt clip kit. RH3185A adds a battery door.
