The RH3045BK is a black ABS hand-held enclosure with a battery door and a factory-installed gasket, rated IP65. It belongs to the RH Series of battery-door enclosures designed for mounting printed circuit boards, and is shaped for a comfortable fit in the user's hand, making it a practical housing for OEM engineers building portable meters, remotes and other hand-held electronics.
The case is molded in general purpose ABS plastic carrying a UL94 HB flammability rating. Lap joint construction guards against dust accumulation and splashing water, and on this gasketed version the gasket runs around the top and bottom halves and around the battery door. The top half has a smooth recessed area for a membrane, keypad or label, and both halves include molded PCB standoffs that accept M2.6 self-tapping screws.
