Hammond RCK42U32BK 42U 32in Deep Knock-Down Cabinet, 1,050 lb

The RCK42U32BK is a 42U knock-down rack cabinet measuring 78.5 in x 24 in x 32 in (1,994 mm x 610 mm x 813 mm), built for AV and media installations, network and telecom equipment rooms, lab and development environments, and general fixed-mount equipment deployments. Because it ships unassembled, it can be carried into constrained spaces and assembled on site; the design is self-squaring for fast assembly and improved structural alignment.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge mounting rails rated for a 1,050 lb load, finished in textured black powder coat (RAL9005 Black) that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant 10-32 tapped mounting rails are supplied, along with a 50-pack of 10-32 mounting hardware (SCREW1032-50).

Usable mounting dimensions are 73.50 in (1,867 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide x 29.56 in (751 mm) deep, and the cabinet is rated 42U + 1U, where the extra 1U is usable accessory mounting at the top-rear. Numerous cable tie-off points and conduit knockouts (including Ø3.00/1.90, Ø2.50/1.90, Ø1.38/1.12 and Ø0.68 openings) support organized cable routing, and ganging capability allows side-by-side expansion.

RCK42U32BK ships with two side panels, 32 in deep top and bottom panels, a solid top panel (C2T1923S), two 1U knockout panels, two 42U panel rails, receptacle cover plates and hinge cover plates. Doors are not included; optional field-installable four-screw doors are available in solid (RCKSD42UBK1), vented (RCKVD42UBK1) and window (RCKWD42UBK1) styles, plus the VCT73 vertical cable tray, casters and leveling feet. The cabinet is TAA compliant and manufactured in North America.
