Hammond RCHV1902231BK1 13U Vented-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The RCHV1902231BK1 is a 13U rack cabinet with vented sides from the RCH Series, built as a general-purpose enclosure for mounting 19-inch equipment in AV, test and measurement, industrial control and light IT installations. The vented side construction supports passive cooling, making it suited to equipment stacks that rely on airflow rather than forced ventilation.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet ships knocked down for handling ease and protection, and the self-squaring design allows assembly with minimal hardware. Two black plastic lifting handles are part of the assembly, and the series includes PVC non-marking feet.

Overall dimensions are 24.75 in x 21.00 in x 31.50 in (629 mm x 533 mm x 800 mm), with usable mounting dimensions of 22.75 in high (13U), 19.00 in wide and 30.25 in deep. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are supplied, along with a starter pack of 16 10-32 clip nuts and screws. The front panel opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) with a 19-inch mounting width reference of 18.35 in (466 mm).

RCHV1902231BK1 is manufactured in Canada, is TAA and USMCA compliant, and is REACH and RoHS compliant with an ECCN of EAR99, supporting government and institutional procurement. Optional panels, doors and additional mounting rail pairs are offered within the series, and bottom mounting holes follow a 1.75 in x 3.00 in pattern for the optional caster kits. This product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
