Hammond RCHV1901024BK1 6U Vented Rack Cabinet, 24.5 in Deep

The RCHV1901024BK1 is a 6U rack cabinet with vented sides, built for mounting standard 19-inch equipment in AV, test and measurement, industrial control and light IT installations. It belongs to Hammond's RCH knock-down cabinet family, which ships unassembled for easier transport, handling and installation in constrained spaces, then goes together quickly thanks to a self-squaring design that uses minimal hardware.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which suits government and institutional procurement. The vented side panels support passive cooling for equipment that does not require forced-air conditioning.

Overall dimensions are 12.5 in x 21 in x 24.5 in (318 mm x 533 mm x 622 mm), with usable mounting space of 10.50 in (267 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 23.25 in (591 mm) deep. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) wide with 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width and a 10.56 in (268 mm) high 6U aperture. Shipping weight is 53.99 lbs (24.49 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole rails are supplied with this RCHV1901024BK1 cabinet, along with a starter pack of 16 10-32 clip nuts and screws, PVC non-marking feet and two black plastic lifting handles. The open cabinet structure accepts optional RCHD doors and additional RCHR mounting rail pairs, and an optional 1425-series caster kit can be added for mobility. Note that this product is not designed or intended to be wall mounted.
