Hammond RCHD1917BK1 10U Solid Locking Door, Black, 16-Gauge Steel

The RCHD1917BK1 is a solid locking door sized for 10U of cabinet panel height, made exclusively for use with the Hammond RCH Cabinet Series. It gives IT, AV and facilities teams a way to close off mounted equipment in a wall or rack cabinet, adding a keyed barrier in offices, classrooms, back-of-house rooms and light industrial spaces.

The door is built from 16-gauge steel and finished in a rugged textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that matches RCH enclosures. The finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality, and the door is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Base material is mild steel, and the part is manufactured in North America.

This size suits a cabinet panel height of 10U / 17.50 in (445 mm). Per the product drawing, the door measures 18.88 in (479 mm) wide by 17.38 in (441 mm) high, with a .50 in (13 mm) depth profile shown in the top view. Shipping weight is 7.01 lbs (3.18 kg).

An installed lock and two keys come with the door, along with mounting hardware. Because the door and cabinet are symmetrical, RCHD1917BK1 can be hung with either a right-hand or left-hand hinge to suit the room layout and door swing you need. If a light gray finish is preferred, the same size is offered as RCHD1917LG1, and an additional pair of mounting rails is available as RCHR1917.
