The RCBS1901417BK1 is an 8U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment in AV, studio, test and measurement, and lab environments. Its fully enclosed structure, with top, bottom and side panels, protects installed gear on a bench top or workstation, making it a practical choice for integrators, studio technicians and OEM engineers who need a compact, protected rack footprint rather than a floor-standing cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a 600 lb load rating, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental requirements. Two black plastic handles are built in for carrying the cabinet between workstations, and four plug bumper feet provide non-marking desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 16.00 in high x 21.00 in wide x 17.50 in deep (406 x 533 x 445 mm), providing 8U of usable mounting height (14.00 in / 356 mm) and 16.88 in (429 mm) of usable mounting depth, with a 16.76 in (426 mm) usable depth and a 17.81 in (452 mm) front opening shown on the drawing. Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip-nut hardware; RCBS1901417BK1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws. Rails are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance and cable access.
