Hammond RCBS1901013BK1 6U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 13 in Deep, Black

RCBS1901013BK1 is a 6U enclosed desktop rack cabinet built for AV and media installations, studio and control room racks, test and measurement benches, and lab or development setups. It gives integrators, technicians and OEM engineers a compact, fully enclosed home for 19-inch rack equipment that can sit on a bench or desk and be moved between workstations.

The cabinet is made from 16-gauge welded mild steel with a 600 lb load rating, and is finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance requirements. A fully enclosed structure with top, bottom and side panels protects the installed equipment, while two black plastic handles support portability and four plug bumpers (non-marking rubber feet) keep the unit stable on a desktop.

Overall dimensions are 12.50 in (318 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 13.00 in (330 mm) deep, with 6U of usable mounting height (10.50 in / 267 mm) and 12.38 in (314 mm) of usable mounting depth. The 19-inch mounting centre spacing is 18.35 in (466 mm) with a 17.81 in (452 mm) front opening.

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant, using 0.28 in (7 mm) round holes with 10-32 clip nuts; the rails are recessed at both front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1901013BK1 ships with a starter pack of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws (CLPKIT1032-10). It is TAA compliant and manufactured in Canada, and is also offered in RAL 7035 light gray as RCBS1901013LG1.
