Hammond RCBS1900817LG1 5U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 17.5 in Deep, Light Gray

The RCBS1900817LG1 is a 5U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or console. It suits AV and media installations, studio and control room builds, test and measurement setups, and lab or development environments where equipment needs protection in a small footprint.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with a 600 lb load rating, and the cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels. The finish is a RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat, described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant to support indoor air quality and environmental compliance. Two black plastic handles are integrated for carrying between workstations, and four plug bumpers act as non-marking rubber feet for stable desktop placement.

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and the rails are recessed at front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1900817LG1 ships with a starter pack of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws (CLPKIT1032-10). The cabinet is manufactured in Canada, TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.
