Hammond RCBS1900813LG1 5U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 13 in Deep, Light Gray

The RCBS1900813LG1 is a 5U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, cart or console. It suits AV and media installations, studio and control room builds, test and measurement setups, and lab or development environments where equipment needs protection in a small footprint.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel rated for a 600 lb load, finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat. The cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels, and the assembly includes two black plastic handles for carrying between workstations plus four plug bumpers (non-marking rubber feet) for stable desktop placement. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Overall dimensions are 10.75 in x 21 in x 13 in (273 mm x 533 mm x 330 mm), providing 5U of usable mounting height (8.75 in / 222 mm) and 12.38 in (314 mm) of usable mounting depth; the drawing shows 12.26 in (311 mm) usable depth. The 19-inch mounting centers measure 18.35 in (466 mm) with a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening and a 0.28 in (7 mm) rail hole diameter. Shipping weight is 19.84 lbs (9.00 kg).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and the rails are recessed at both front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1900813LG1 ships with a starter pack of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws (CLPKIT1032-10), so basic installation hardware is on hand.

The cabinet is made in Canada, TAA-compliant and USMCA compliant, and is RoHS and REACH compliant (ECCN EAR99), supporting government and regulated procurement requirements. A black version of the same size is offered as RCBS1900813BK1.
