Hammond RCBS1900817BK1 5U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 17.5 in Deep, Black

The RCBS1900817BK1 is a 5U enclosed desktop rack cabinet built for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk, or cart. It suits AV and media integrators, studio and control room builders, and test, lab and development teams who need a compact, protected home for a few pieces of rack gear rather than a full floor-standing cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel with a 600 lb load rating, and the cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels to protect installed equipment. The finish is a RAL9005 black textured powder coat, described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant for indoor air quality and environmental compliance. Two black plastic handles are integrated for carrying between workstations, and four plug bumpers act as non-marking rubber feet for stable desktop placement.

RCBS1900817BK1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws. The cabinet is made in Canada, USMCA and TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and is also offered in RAL 7035 light gray as RCBS1900817LG1.
