Hammond RB-2PS1924BK 24U 2-Post Knock-Down Rack, 1600 lb Capacity

The RB-2PS1924BK is a 24U 19-inch 2-post open frame rack from the RB-2PS Series, built for IT, telecom and structured cabling installations where equipment must be reachable from all sides. It ships unassembled (knock-down) so it can be carried through tight doorways, stairwells and elevators and built on site, then squared up using its self-squaring frame design.

Construction is 12-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat finish, rated for a 1600 lb load. The open frame 2-post design is 19" EIA compliant and uses a dual rail configuration: 12-24 threaded holes on one side and square holes on the reverse, so the rails can be oriented to suit the hardware being used. A mounting hardware pack with 12-24 screws is included, along with the assembly hardware (1/4-20 screws and KEP nuts), two top brackets and two base angles.

RB-2PS1924BK provides 24U of mounting space with a mounting height of 42.00 in (1067 mm) and a mounting width of 19.00 in (483 mm). Nominal shipped size is 48.13 in x 20 in x 15 in (1,223 mm x 508 mm x 381 mm) at 50 lbs (22.68 kg); the drawing shows a 47.50 in (1207 mm) overall height, 20.25 in (514 mm) width and 15.00 in (381 mm) depth, with a 16.50 in x 11.00 in base angle footprint and 0.75 in (19 mm) floor-anchor holes.

Side ganging and accessory mounting provisions allow the rack to be joined and paired with cable management. Two racks plus the Four Post Rack Kit (FPRK) convert the installation into a four-post rack. The rack is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, with a finish described as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
