Hammond RASCLAMP 2-Pack Equipment Clamping Bracket for Rack Shelves

The RASCLAMP is a shelf clamping bracket sold in pairs, designed to retain non-rackmount equipment on RAS Series universal rack shelves. It is intended for IT, AV and industrial users who need equipment held securely on a fixed shelf inside a 19-inch or 23-inch rack or cabinet, rather than relying on the shelf surface alone. The clamping arm accessory provides secure equipment retention for 2U and 3U shelf sizes and replaces the legacy RACS Series.

Each kit contains two clamping brackets, and mounting hardware is included, so no separate fasteners need to be sourced. The brackets are made from mild steel and are supplied painted black to match the black powder coat finish used on RAS Series shelves. Threaded mounting points are #10-32, and the bracket includes a 0.25 in (6 mm) diameter hole for adjustment and attachment.

Overall bracket dimensions on the drawing are 17.32 in (440 mm) and 14.32 in (364 mm), with the pair positioned across the shelf to clamp down on the installed equipment. Shipping weight for the RASCLAMP two-pack is 1 lbs (0.45 kg).
