Hammond PWS7102A115N4LG 3200 BTU/H 115V Air-to-Water Heat Exchanger

The PWS7102A115N4LG is a compact air-to-water heat exchanger from the PWS 7000 series, rated 3200 BTU/H in its part description and powered from 115 V. It is designed to use a water source to cool electrical enclosures where the surrounding air is hot, the conditions are harsh, or the equipment is subject to frequent wash-down, making it relevant to plant engineers, OEM panel builders and process facilities.

With the enclosure at +95 °F (+35 °C) and water at +50 °F (+10 °C), the PWS 7102 delivers 3242 BTU/h (950 W) of cooling at a flow rate of 53 GPH (400 L/h) and an air volume of 153 CFM. It works with chilled water/glycol, tower water and other circulated coolants, which must be at least 10 °C colder than the inlet air. An integrated thermostat and solenoid valve with alarm contact provide automatic control, adjustable from +46 to +122 °F (+8 to +50 °C) with a +95 °F (+35 °C) factory setting.

The core is a rugged 10 bar copper tube / aluminum fin heat exchanger with 1/2" barb connections, rated for 14.5 to 145 PSI (1 to 10 bar) operating pressure. At 115 V, 60 Hz it consumes 95 W and draws 0.8 A, wired at a terminal block. The exterior case is galvanized steel finished in RAL7035 light gray, and the unit measures 19.68 in (500 mm) high, 7.88 in (200 mm) wide and 5.55 in (141 mm) deep.

Side, door or internal mounting is possible, and a PWS 7102/7062 drilling template is supplied along with the manual and technical data sheet. The part is described as NEMA 3R/4, and the series carries UL, cUL and CE standards. It ships at 20 lbs (9.07 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
