Hammond PWS7102A230N4LG 3200 BTU/H 230V Air-to-Water Heat Exchanger

The PWS7102A230N4LG is the 230 V light gray version of the compact PWS 7102 air-to-water heat exchanger, listed as a 3200 BTU/H, NEMA 3R/4 unit. It is intended for enclosures where ambient air is too hot, too dirty or too wet to use for cooling, such as process areas with high temperatures or frequent wash-down, and where a water or coolant loop is available.

Rated cooling capacity is 3242 BTU/h (950 W) with a +95 °F (+35 °C) enclosure and +50 °F (+10 °C) water. The unit accepts chilled water/glycol, tower water and other circulated coolants at 53 GPH (400 L/h) and 14.5 to 145 PSI (1 to 10 bar), and circulates 153 CFM of enclosure air. The coolant must be at least 10 °C colder than the inlet air for the unit to function correctly.

On 230 V it runs at 50/60 Hz, consuming 84 W with 0.52 A running current, and connects at a terminal block. The integrated thermostat and solenoid valve with alarm contact adjust automatically between +46 and +122 °F (+8 and +50 °C), factory set to +95 °F (+35 °C). Inside is a rugged 10 bar copper tube / aluminum fin heat exchanger with 1/2" barb connections, housed in a galvanized steel case finished RAL7035 light gray.

The PWS7102A230N4LG measures 19.68 x 7.88 x 5.55 in (500 x 200 x 141 mm) and can be side, door or internally mounted using the supplied PWS 7102/7062 drilling template. Series standards are UL, cUL and CE. It ships at 20 lbs (9.07 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
