Hammond PVSS19003BK 2U Slotted Steel Vented Rack Panel, Black

The PVSS19003BK is a 2U slotted steel vented rack panel from the PVSS Series, made to cover unused rack space while still letting air pass through. It suits IT and network teams, AV and telecom integrators, and facilities staff who need to close off open rack space without blocking ventilation for active equipment.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel, which provides durable rack space coverage while supporting high airflow performance. The panel is finished in a smooth powder coat in RAL 9005 Black Matte for a clean, professional look in the rack face. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting environmental and durability requirements.

This 2U panel provides 3.50 in (89 mm) of usable mounting height and 19.40 in (493 mm) of open space (cubic units). The slotted pattern uses 0.25 in x 1.0 in slots and allows approximately 29% airflow, improving cooling efficiency compared to standard perforated panels, while the slots also support directional airflow and cable visibility.

PVSS19003BK fits standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails for universal compatibility, so it drops into typical server, network and telecom racks and cabinets. By covering rack space while maintaining ventilation, it helps balance airflow, containment and rack organization rather than leaving open gaps.
