Hammond PVSS19001BK 1U Slotted Steel Vented Rack Panel, 29% Airflow

The PVSS19001BK is a 1U slotted steel vented rack panel built to cover unused space in a 19 in rack while letting air keep moving. It suits IT and data centre teams, telecom installers, AV integrators and facilities staff who need to tidy open rack gaps without shutting down ventilation to active equipment.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 Black Matte. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility. The part is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, and both RoHS and REACH compliant.

This 1U size provides 1.75 in (44 mm) of usable mounting height and 9.70 in (246 mm) of open space, and fits standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails for universal compatibility. The slot pattern measures 0.25 in x 1.0 in, delivering approximately 29% airflow — more than standard perforated panels — while still supporting directional airflow and cable visibility.
