The PMB4045KIT2 is the large-clamp version of the 40-45mm stainless steel pole mount kit. It mounts compatible Hammond enclosures to poles up to 15" (381 mm) in diameter, giving installers a way to put small enclosures on larger poles, masts and columns.
Compatible enclosures are the flanged 1555BF and 1555CF and the 1590ZGRP081, 1590ZGRP082, 1590ZGRP083, 1590ZGRP084 and 1590ZGRP131, each fixed with M4-0.7 x 20mm screws. The purchased kit includes 2 brackets, 2 clamps and hardware, with every part made from stainless steel.
With the large clamp the pole diameter range is 1.5in - 15in (3.8cm to 38.1cm), and the brackets can also be mounted to square or rectangular shapes. The bracket drawing shows 74.50 mm [2.93 in] length, 46.99 mm [1.85 in] width and 43.38 mm [1.71 in] height.
Fit the brackets with a 3mm hex key and 7mm nut drive (M4 hardware) at 11.5-13.5 lbf-in (130-150 cN-m), then wrap the clamps around the pole, thread them back through the bracket and tighten with a 5/16in (8mm) nut drive while holding the enclosure in place. Replacement parts are SCPMB1-20 hardware and HCLAMP2 large clamps. For poles up to 7", the PMB4045KIT1 uses the small clamp.
