Hammond PJW603614L 60x36x14 Type 4X Fiberglass Wallmount Enclosure

The PJW603614L is the largest-volume latch-style enclosure among the PJW Series part numbers, measuring 60.25 x 36.25 x 14.13 in (1,530 x 921 x 359 mm). This Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure combines a tall mounting area with 14.13 in of depth for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures exposed to hose-down, heavy moisture, heat or highly corrosive environments.

The box and cover are gel-coat, fiberglass and resin with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. The drawing specifies a 0.15 in (3.91 mm) wall, a continuous stainless steel hinge, and three stainless steel draw latches with keeper plates and padlock provision, described in the series as stainless steel butterfly twist-latch fasteners. An EPDM gasket seals the cover, and the polyester is easily punched, cut or drilled.

Equipment mounts on the optional 18P5733 inner panel, 57.00 x 33.00 in (1448 x 838 mm), carried on 8 collar studs that add stiffness on sizes 36x36 in and larger. Hardware is included: PVC spacers, stainless steel 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, internal teeth locking washers, flat washers and 3/8-16 hex head nuts. The drawing also shows an optional painted carbon steel back panel 0.105 in (2.67 mm) thick. The integrated mounting flange handles installation.
