Hammond PJW483614L3PT 48x36x14 Type 4X Enclosure, 3-Point Handle

The PJW483614L3PT is the deep 48.25 x 36.25 x 14.13 in (1,226 x 921 x 359 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure, equipped with a 316 stainless steel 3-point handle. It is built as an instrument enclosure, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, junction box or terminal wiring enclosure for sites that are hosed down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive.

Gel-coat, fiberglass and resin form the box and cover, with a nominal 0.19 in (4.8 mm) wall, gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. The cover swings on a continuous 316 stainless steel piano hinge and is closed by the 3-point latch, which includes padlock provision, over an EPDM gasket seal. Conduit entries and cutouts are easily punched, cut or drilled.

The interior has 8 collar studs for added stiffness, with hardware included: PVC spacers, SS 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, SS internal teeth locking washers, SS flat washers and SS 3/8-16 hex head nuts. The listed optional inner panel is 18P4533, 45.00 x 33.00 in (1143 x 838 mm), and the drawing references optional painted carbon steel back panel P4836CS, 0.105 in (2.7 mm) thick. Hang it from the integrated mounting flange.
