Hammond PJW603610L 60x36x10 Type 4X Fiberglass Wallmount Enclosure

The PJW603610L is the tallest 10 in deep size in the PJW Series: a 60.25 x 36.25 x 10.13 in (1,530 x 921 x 257 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure. It gives a long mounting area for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures that may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to highly corrosive conditions.

The box and cover are gel-coat, fiberglass and resin in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. The part drawing shows a 0.15 in (3.91 mm) wall, a continuous stainless steel hinge and three stainless steel draw latches with keeper plates and padlock provision; the series names these stainless steel butterfly twist-latch fasteners. An EPDM gasket seals the cover, and the polyester is easily punched, cut or drilled.

The optional inner panel is 18P5733, measuring 57.00 x 33.00 in (1448 x 838 mm) in white powder coated steel. It mounts on 8 collar studs, which the series provides on sizes 36x36 in and larger for added stiffness, with hardware included: PVC spacers, stainless steel 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, internal teeth locking washers, flat washers and 3/8-16 hex head nuts. The drawing also shows an optional painted carbon steel back panel 0.105 in (2.67 mm) thick. An integrated mounting flange is provided.
