Hammond PJW363014L 36x30x14 Type 4X Fiberglass Wallmount Enclosure

The PJW363014L is a 36.25 x 30.25 x 14.13 in (921 x 768 x 359 mm) Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure. Its 14.13 in depth gives room for deeper components in instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures used where equipment is hosed down, soaked, exposed to heat or to highly corrosive conditions.

Construction is gel-coat, fiberglass and resin for both box and cover, with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors to resist outdoor weathering. The drawing shows a 0.15 in (3.91 mm) wall, a continuous stainless steel hinge, and three stainless steel draw latches with keeper plates, padlock provisioned; the series calls these stainless steel butterfly type twist-latch door fasteners. The cover seals on an EPDM gasket.

The optional inner panel for this size is 18P3327, measuring 33.00 x 27.00 in (838 x 686 mm) in white powder coated steel. It mounts on 3/8 collar studs, with hardware included: at six locations a standard PVC spacer, stainless steel 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, internal teeth locking washer, flat washer and 3/8-16 hex head nut. The integrated mounting flange handles wall installation, and the polyester can be punched, cut or drilled.

The PJW Series is UL/cUL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. Operating temperature spans 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F); impact index is 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). The PJW363014L ships at 59 lbs (26.76 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
