Hammond PJU664T 6x6x4 Solid Cover Twist Latch Type 4X Box with Feet

PJU664T is the smallest solid-cover twist latch enclosure in the PJU Series: a 6 x 6 x 4 Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a continuous molded hinge and four polycarbonate feet. It is built for compact instrument enclosures, junction boxes, terminal wiring and control housings in wet, hot or highly corrosive environments.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. Both are easily punched, cut or drilled for entries and devices. Instead of cover screws, a stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center closes the door; it is lockable and has a provision for padlocking. The hinge uses a stainless steel pin, and a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals the cover.

The PJU664T measures 6.05 in x 6.27 in x 4.13 in (154 x 159 x 105 mm) and has a shipping weight of 3 lbs (1.36 kg). Four polycarbonate feet attach with stainless steel screws into #10-32 brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. The optional 14R0505 inner panel, 4.88 in x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm), mounts with plated carbon steel screws.

The series is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is specified for -40°C to 130°C. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
