The PJU664CCTF is the flange-mount, clear cover member of the 6 x 6 x 4 PJU Series twist latch enclosures. Its polycarbonate cover shows what is inside, and two glued polycarbonate flanges fix the Type 4X fiberglass polyester box to a wall or structure. It is suited to compact instrument enclosures, terminal wiring and control housings in locations that are wet, hot or corrosive.
The box is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, UV-inhibited, and easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover opens on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is held shut by a lockable stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center, with a provision for padlocking. A captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening.
Dimensions are 6.05 in x 6.27 in x 4.13 in (154 x 159 x 105 mm), and the listed shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The drawing gives a flange slot distance of 6.75 in (171.44 mm) minimum to 6.88 in (174.74 mm) maximum. Flange screws are stainless steel into #10-32 brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included.
The optional 14R0505 inner panel measures 4.88 in x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm). PJU664CCTF is part of a UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 series that complies with IEC 60529 IP66, operates from -40°C to 130°C, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
