Hammond PJU664CCT 6x6x4 Clear Cover Twist Latch Type 4X Box with Feet

PJU664CCT is a compact 6 x 6 x 4 Type 4X junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and a stainless steel twist latch, from the PJU Series of continuous hinge enclosures with twist latches. Four polycarbonate feet handle surface mounting. It is intended for small instrument enclosures, control housings and terminal wiring points where equipment may be hosed down, very wet or exposed to heat and corrosion.

The box is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and it can be easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover closes with a stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center, which is lockable and includes a provision for padlocking. The cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and seals on a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

The enclosure measures 6.05 in x 6.27 in x 4.13 in (154 x 159 x 105 mm), with a listed shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The optional 14R0505 inner panel is 4.88 in x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm) and mounts on #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. Feet attach with stainless steel screws into brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included.

Series standards for the PJU664CCT are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with operation from -40°C to 130°C. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
