The PJU201610W is a 20 x 16 x 10 in Type 4X polyester junction box with a lift-off screw cover that carries a polycarbonate viewing window, supplied in the feet-mount configuration. Because the cover comes fully off, it is well suited to wiring-intensive terminal and junction work, as well as instrument and control housings that need to be read without opening.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in light gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor service. Four stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts and compress a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.
Actual dimensions are 20.50 in H x 16.27 in W x 10.13 in D (521 x 413 x 257 mm), and the shipping weight is 18 lbs (8.16 kg). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional P2068 inner panel, 18.44 x 14.44 in, in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.
The mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts with stainless steel screws, and the drawing shows 21.50 in overall height with 20.53 in vertical hole spacing. The PJU201610W is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, for operation between -40°C and 130°C.
