PJU181610HWF pairs a hinged, windowed screw cover with flange mounting in an 18 x 16 x 10 in Type 4X polyester enclosure. Integrators use it as an instrument enclosure, electrical junction box or control housing when the door needs to stay attached during service and components must remain visible through the polycarbonate window.
Both box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in light gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. A continuous stainless steel hinge pin carries the door, and (2) stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings close it into #10-32 brass inserts against a closed cell neoprene gasket. The material can be punched, cut or drilled on site.
Enclosure dimensions are 18.30 in H x 16.52 in W x 10.13 in D (465 x 420 x 257 mm). Two glued polycarbonate flanges fasten to rear brass inserts with stainless steel screws; the drawing shows a 19.63 in overall height with flanges and mounting slot distances from 18.76 to 18.88 in. The optional P1868 inner panel (16.88 x 14.88 in) mounts on brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws.
The PJU181610HWF is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant, operating from -40°C to 130°C.
