Hammond PJU12106CCL 12x10x6 Clear Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU12106CCL is a 12.05 x 10.27 x 6.13 in (306 x 261 x 156 mm) fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. At this size the cover closes with two lockable stainless steel snap latches, and the optional 10.75 x 8.88 in inner panel leaves room for instruments or control devices that stay visible through the door.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and is intended for hose-down, very wet, high-temperature or highly corrosive environments. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

The gray body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall; it is easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover swings on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, the latches include a padlocking provision, and a closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening.

Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1109 inner panel, 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm), in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws; the drawing shows 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes on 12.70 in (322.64 mm) vertical centers and 13.42 in (340.87 mm) overall height with feet. Rated 130°C to -40°C, 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, 6 lbs (2.72 kg) shipping weight; RoHS and REACH compliant.
