Hammond PJU1086CCLF 10x8x6 Clear Cover Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PJU1086CCLF is a 10.05 x 8.27 x 6.13 in (255 x 210 x 156 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear injected polycarbonate cover and two glued polycarbonate mounting flanges. It combines the deeper 6.13 in body of the 1086 size with a see-through door and flange mounting.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and provides insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or in highly corrosive surroundings. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

• Compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester body, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors
• Molded hinge with 316 stainless steel pin and a 316 stainless steel lockable snap latch with padlock provision
• Formed-in-place polyurethane gasket
• Flanges with (4X) 0.34 in (8.65 mm) holes on 10.75 in (273.04 mm) vertical centers; 11.50 in (292.09 mm) overall height
• Flanges fastened with #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel screws

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 14R0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), which the drawing lists in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The body can be punched, cut or drilled for entries. The enclosure is rated for 130°C to -40°C, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
