PJU1084CCT is a 10 x 8 x 4 Type 4X junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover, stainless steel twist latch and four polycarbonate feet. From the PJU Series with continuous hinge and twist latches, it is a shallow 4.13 in deep enclosure for instruments, terminals and control components that need to stay visible in wet, hot or corrosive surroundings.
The box is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and it is easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is closed by a lockable stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center, which has a padlocking provision. A captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals it.
Size is 10.05 in x 8.27 in x 4.13 in (255 x 210 x 105 mm), and the shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The optional 14R0907 inner panel measures 8.75 in x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm) and mounts on #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. The feet are fastened with stainless steel screws, and mounting hardware is included.
The PJU1084CCT series carries UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 listings and IEC 60529 IP66 compliance, with an operating range of -40°C to 130°C. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
