Hammond PJU1084CCTF 10x8x4 Clear Cover Twist Latch Type 4X Box, Flange

The PJU1084CCTF is a 10 x 8 x 4 flange-mount Type 4X junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and stainless steel twist latch. It is part of the PJU Series with continuous hinge and twist latches, and it is intended for integrators and electricians who wall-mount instrument enclosures, terminal wiring or control housings where contents must be visible and conditions are wet, hot or corrosive.

The gray box is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with enhanced UV inhibitors and can be punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover hinges on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, seals on a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket, and closes with a lockable stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center that includes a padlocking provision.

The enclosure is 10.05 in x 8.27 in x 4.13 in (255 x 210 x 105 mm) with a shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the box and fastened with stainless steel screws into #10-32 brass inserts; mounting hardware is included. The optional 14R0907 inner panel measures 8.75 in x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm) and mounts with plated carbon steel screws.

Back panel options are 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.125 in fiberglass. The PJU1084CCTF series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, rated -40°C to 130°C, and REACH and RoHS compliant.
