Hammond PJU1084CCL 10x8x4 Clear Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU1084CCL is a 10.05 x 8.27 x 4.13 in (255 x 210 x 105 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. The 4.13 in depth keeps it shallow while the 8.75 x 6.88 in inner panel option gives room for terminal wiring or instruments that benefit from being visible through the cover.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, including locations that are hosed down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive. It is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66.

The gray body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall; it is easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover rides on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and closes with one lockable stainless steel snap latch on center with a padlocking provision, sealing on a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws, with 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes; overall height with feet is 11.47 in (291.28 mm). Operating range 130°C to -40°C, impact index 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), shipping weight 6 lbs (2.72 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
