Hammond PJU1084CCLF 10x8x4 Clear Cover Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PJU1084CCLF is a 10.05 x 8.27 x 4.13 in (255 x 210 x 105 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and two glued polycarbonate mounting flanges. It is aimed at instrument enclosures and terminal wiring points where the contents should be visible and the box needs to be fixed through external flanges rather than feet.

The PJU Series covers electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, including locations that are hosed down, very wet, hot or corrosive. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66.

The gray body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall; it can be punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover is hinged on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, closes with one lockable stainless steel snap latch on center with a padlocking provision, and seals against a closed cell neoprene gasket.

The flanges fasten to #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel screws; the drawing shows (4) 0.32 in (8.20 mm) mounting holes on 10.75 in (273.04 mm) vertical centers and 11.50 in (292.09 mm) overall height with flanges. Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 14R0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. Rated 130°C to -40°C, 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, shipping weight 6 lbs (2.72 kg), RoHS and REACH compliant.
