Hammond PJ944P3 3-Hole 30.5mm Fiberglass Pushbutton Enclosure

The PJ944P3 is the three-hole, 30.5mm model in the PJPB Series of fiberglass polyester pushbutton enclosures. With room for three operators in a taller 9x4x4 body, it fits start/stop/jog style stations for machinery that may be hosed down or be very wet, or that operates at high temperatures or in highly corrosive environments.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover is held by four captive stainless steel screws in #10-32 threaded brass inserts, and a captive oil resistant gasket provides a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

The enclosure measures 8.99 in H x 3.93 in W x 3.88 in D (228 mm x 100 mm x 99 mm), with holes on 2.25 in (57.15 mm) centres per the drawing, and ships at 2.1 lbs (0.95 kg). Mount it through the rear holes with #8 x 1 inch screws (not included). The matching optional aluminum inner panel is PJP94, 6.25 in x 3.13 in with a natural finish. For 22.5mm devices, choose PJ944P223.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. It operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), has an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
