When you need to see an instrument or indicator without opening the box, the PJ664RHW adds a bonded polycarbonate viewing window to a raised, hinged cover. The Type 4X fiberglass reinforced polyester enclosure measures 6.10 x 6.10 x 4.18 in (155 x 155 x 106 mm) and serves as an instrument enclosure, junction box, terminal wiring enclosure or control housing in wet, washdown, high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering; the window is polycarbonate. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover swings on a stainless steel hinge, continuous per the series, and is closed with two stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts. A closed cell neoprene gasket seals the cover.

The PJ664RHW holds UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 per CSA 22.2 No. 94 listings and complies with IEC 60529 IP66. It operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
