The PJ20168RW is a 20.00 in H x 16.00 in W x 8.13 in D (508 x 406 x 207 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester enclosure with a raised window cover, listed in the series ordering table in the lift-off window cover column. The bonded polycarbonate window keeps contents visible for instrument enclosures, control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. Walls are 0.14 in (3.56 mm) per the drawing and are easily punched, cut or drilled. The impact index is 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) and the operating range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
Four 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings fasten into #10-32 brass inserts, and a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket provides the seal for hose-down, very wet and highly corrosive locations.
