The PJ16148HP30 is a 30-hole pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm devices with a hinged screw cover and an 8.13 in depth. One of the larger PJPBLC Series models, it suits OEM and plant engineers building extensive operator stations for equipment that may be hosed down or be very wet, or for high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, and easily punched, cut, or drilled. A stainless steel hinge carries the cover, and two captive stainless steel screws with retaining O-rings close it into #10-32 brass inserts. A captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene on the drawing) provides a positive seal, and enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.
The PJ16148HP30 measures 16.27 in H x 14.40 in W x 8.13 in D (413 mm x 366 mm x 207 mm) and ships at 12 lbs (5.44 kg). Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts. Internal threaded brass inserts accept the optional 14R1513 inner panel, 14.75 in x 12.88 in, or a terminal kit. The lift off cover equivalent is PJ16148P30.
The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Operating range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F) and the impact index is 6.78J (5 ft/lb). RoHS and REACH compliant.
