The PJ14126TW is a Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box in the 14 x 12 x 6 size, fitted with a hinged polycarbonate window cover and two lockable twist latches. It is intended for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring and control housings where the equipment may be hosed down or very wet.
Hardware called out on the drawing includes two stainless steel lockable twist latches, a stainless steel hinge and a closed cell neoprene gasket, plus four stainless steel mounting feet with stainless steel screws in #10-32 brass inserts. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering.
This enclosure is 14.13 in H x 12.26 in W x 6.13 in D (359 x 311 x 156 mm) and ships at 9 lbs (4.08 kg). Inside, four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws take the optional 14R1311 inner panel at 12.75 x 10.88 in. Back panel thicknesses on the drawing are 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.125 in fiberglass.
Series ratings are UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and IEC 60529 IP66, with an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). PJ14126TW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
