The PJ12126RT is the deeper of the two square 12 in PJ raised-lid enclosures. The series ordering table lists it at 12.13 x 12.13 x 6.13 in (308 x 308 x 156 mm) and the part page at 12.32 x 12.32 x 6 in (313 x 313 x 152 mm). With a solid cover, it serves as an instrument enclosure, an electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, or a terminal wiring enclosure where equipment is hosed down, very wet, hot or in corrosive surroundings.
Both box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors, easily punched, cut or drilled for entries. The drawing calls out two 316 stainless steel lockable twist latches, a 316 stainless steel hinge, a FIP polyurethane gasket and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall. The latches include a provision for padlocking.
The optional 14R1111 inner panel is 10.75 x 10.88 in (273 x 276 mm) and mounts on #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. The drawing lists back panel thicknesses of 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and 0.125 in fiberglass. Four 316 stainless steel feet attach to #10-32 brass inserts on the rear with 316 stainless screws; mounting hardware is included.
The PJ12126RT is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) listed for Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It is rated from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), has a 6.78J (5 ft/lb) impact index and ships at 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
