Hammond PHW201612 20x16x12 Deep Fiberglass Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The PHW201612 is the deepest 20 x 16 model in the PHW Series of Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosures, with a nominal size of 20 x 16 x 12 in. It is intended for electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls indoors and outdoors, and gives the most internal depth available on this footprint.

The enclosure is compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester with a light gray finish, for installations that need a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure protecting against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water. Its door hangs on a continuous hinge and closes with stainless steel butterfly type twist latches, sealing against a memory retaining continuous door gasket. Stainless steel hardware and a padlocking provision are standard.

The PHW201612 measures 22.75 in H x 16.87 in W x 13.77 in D (578 x 428 x 350 mm) overall, with a shipping weight of 24 lbs (10.89 kg). An optional 18P1713 inner panel, 17.00 x 13.00 in (432 x 330 mm), can be fitted to the molded in panel mounting inserts.

The enclosure mounts using its integral mounting feet. It carries the series ratings of UL 508A 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and complies with NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. RoHS and REACH compliant.
